What Do I wear?
Don’t fret! I’m here to help with all of your outfit needs. We provide a full wardrobe at our studio which ranges from sizes xs- 6xl. My favorite part of sessions is helping you step out of your comfort zone, and sometimes that’s by trying a new outfit! You are also more then welcome to bring in your own wardrobe as well.
Outfits
The classic! A simple, matching bra + panty set is always a win. We highly recommend neutral or deep colors such as dark green, royal blue, deep purple, maroon, black, white, etc. Colors such as bright pink, yellow or orange tend ot not photograph well and escape the timeless images we’re trying to create.
Outfits
Details! Anything with straps, lace, or cutouts adds such a variety to your images. think about bodysuits with keyhole backs, velvet textures, zippers, high-necklines, lacy accents, or something some shine!
Outfits
Bodysuits!!!! I think everybody should bring at least one bodysuit. They flatter EVERY TYPE OF BODY! And they look amazing in photos, so you should consider bringing one.

A thin white tank or t-shirt can make for an amazing wet t-shirt look! It’s so simple, yet incredibly sexy.
YOURSELF!!! 99% of our sessions end with artistic nudes. It’s a great way to break out of your comfort zone and the outfit is completely free!
If you have no idea — no worries! Andrea will guide you through all the outfits during your wardrobe consultation!
FAQs
Do you edit my images?
Yes! We will 100% retouch the images.But we are not advocates of manipulating your size. We can do what is necessary like blemish removal and such- but remember, you are beautiful just the way you are!
CAN MY SPOUSE/FRIEND/MOM COME TO MY SESSION OR MY ORDERING APPOINTMENT?
We love when you bring in a friend who is super supportive and is your hype girl! We want to make sure that you are comfortable with being vulnerable around them though, and they need to understand that this day is about YOU!
Are you going to share my images?
You decide if we can or cannot share your images. We will never share your images without your permission!
When will I see my images?
You will see your images two weeks after your session. You will get to come in and review and select the images you purchased and cannot live without!
How to Prep the Day Before Your Session
- Bathe, shave and moisturize
- Remove ALL price tags, size and care labels etc. from clothing, especially from lingerie and panties. they can ruin otherwise great photographs.
- Double-check everything is properly packed and ready for the shoot.
- Allow yourself plenty of time to get to the studio without stressing. Check weather and traffic reports to ensure you have allotted enough time for unexpected delays.
How to Prep the Day of Your Session
1. Use Clear deodorant please.
2. Wear loose fitting clothing to your session to avoid red marks on your skin ( no jeans, tight socks or tight clothing, for instance).
3. Make sure to eat breakfast, boudoir is hard work and you are going to need your energy for it!
4. MOST IMPORTANT! Take a deep breath and relax. It’s completely normal to be a wee bit nervous before your shoot, but please don’t worry because you will be in very good hands. We will show you exactly how to pose and work with you to get the perfect shot.
What to Expect at the Studio?
Andrea Baue Photography resides in NE Minneapolis, MN. We have a fully furnished, boudoir studio complete to fill all of your needs. You will get a text the night before your session that will give you the door code in it .
When you arrive we will pull out the outfits and then to hair and makeup. Hair and makeup takes about an hour to an hour and half. Then it is time to pose! your session will last approximately 45-60 minutes. I will have multiple sets in the studio so you have a variety of looks to use. We will have time for at least 2 different looks or outfit changes, often times we get to three! After your session we will schedule a time that works best for you reveal and ordering session in two weeks.
The Reveal
It’s time to start thinking about your artwork. Albums, heirloom boxes, wall art, etc.
During your reveal session (two weeks after your shoot) you will pick out your favorite images! You’ll be able to flip through albums, look at wall art and compare all of the sizes to decide what works best for you!
You will get the chance to touch, feel and sample each product in person during your wardrobe consultation to determine which artwork best fits your needs.

Why Pre-Payment Plans?
Your artwork deserves to be displayed like….. ART!!! This is why at Andrea Baue Photography we’ve selected the most perfect hand crafted, heirloom products to display your images in. Any of our products or collections are available to be put into a payment plan.
If you plan on utilizing a payment plan we recommend applying for PayPal Credit. This allows you to purchase your products and have up to 6 months to pay off your products INTEREST FREE! The best part… NO WAITING!! You’ll receive your products within 4-6 weeks of your ordering appointment.
Pre- Payment Plans
If you don’t qualify for Paypal Credit you can always do a pre-payment plan through Andrea Baue Photography! to start your pre-payment plan we take your remaining balance broken into weekly, bi-weekly or monthly payments. All pre-payment plans are made during the months leading up to your session date. When you arrive for your session you are already good to go with your artwork selected. Any payments paid on your payment plan are non-refundable.
We offer additional financing through Affirm, Klarna, and AfterPay.
A typical client invests $3,500 -6,500 into their boudoir experience.

We LOVE the opportunity to showcase a selection of images you select and your STORY, i.e. why you chose to do a session, the way it made you feel, your overall experience and any guidance you could offer to future ladies that are considering working with Andrea. Please let us know if you’d be willing to sign a release of images (we can specify which images you’re OK with showcasing) and write for our blog!
Meet Your Photographer
If you made it this far — Yay!! I want to fully reassure you that I understand how nervous you are. Boudoir is scary at first! but I’ve done it, too! I know how nerve-wracking it can be. I will guide you through 100% of the poses. I have shoot over 300 boudoir sessions and I am highly confident that you will feel completely comfortable once you get to the studio and start your session. Our sessions are super laid back and easy going. There’s no hot studio lights or flashing cameras in your face. I’ll turn on your favorite tunes and it’ll be like you’re with an old girlfriend.
