This guide is going to walk you through the process of what a boudoir session is and how the process works over here at Andrea Baue Photography. I am excited to get you in the studio! Once you read through this guide, you’ll be able to schedule your free phone consultation and book your session over the phone with us. 

This Guide is very thorough… which means it’s long!

What is Boudoir?  

Boudoir technically is a french word which means ‘a woman’s dressing room or bedroom,’ but we like to think of it as just a fancy word for women’s intimate portraiture. Boudoir can be fun, flirty, beautiful, cute, sexy, feminine, intimate, candid, posed or really anything else you want it to be.

What Do I Do With Boudoir Photos?

We believe that boudoir is the best gift you can give yourself, to capture your essence as you are now. When you need a reminder of the strong, beautiful woman that you are, you have a collection of amazing portraits to look upon.  

We love it when women come to us for themselves. The images we create together will boost your self esteem and your confidence, which should be celebrated by you! It will help you reclaim your feminiity and your sexuality, two things that are often lost in our day to day lives. Lets put that pep in your step and celebrate by owning your beautiful!  

I don’t look like the women on your website.

 We’ll let you in on a little secret… all the women on your website believed they didn’t look like the women on our website! Crazy right? Because here you them being so fierce and so confident. But we can asure you that they were just as nervous and full of self doubt as you are. They allshowed up, put their trust in us, and Andrea couach them through the whole day.  

 There is no such thing as a the perfect body. you are never to big, too small, too old, to do a boudoir session. Boudoir is for Everybody. Let us show you! 

Do you offer hair and makeup?

 Hell -to-the-yes, girl! No boudoir session is complete without a bomb, photo-ready finish. I only hire the very best talen in our area to serve our clients with top level hair nad makeup!

Many of our clients tell us they rarely wear makeup, and/or they have no idea how to apply makeup for the camera. If this is you, then have no fear… we are going to take great care of you and get you the makeup look that suits you and your personality best. 

We have created a beautiful and comprehensive wardrobe guide that should give you the 411 on how to look and feel like a bombshell for your session. Our policy is always when in doubt, bring it! Most sessions incldue 2-3 outfits, so it’s not uncommon for our babes to show up with a duffle bag full of stuff! We will discuss which ones will flatter you most. Feel free to leave tags on incase you’d like to return the ones you didn’t end up shooting in!

Do you edit my images?

CAN MY SPOUSE/FRIEND/MOM COME TO MY SESSION OR MY ORDERING APPOINTMENT?

We love when you bring in a friend who is super supportive and is your hype girl! We want to make sure that you are comfortable with being vulnerable around them though, and they need to understand that this day is about YOU! 

Are you going to share my images? 

You decide if we can or cannot share your images. We will never share your images without your permission!

When will I see my images? 

You will see your images two weeks after your session. You will get to come in and review and select the images you  purchased and cannot live without! 

What do I need to Book?

Product Pricing

Most of our clients come to us for an album, we offer albums from basic to boujee… we’ve got a style to suit every babe. However, we sell all kinds of things for you to choose from. 

We’ll help you determine how many images you want, what products appeal to you the best, and how much you want to spend. Some women come to me and get a basic album, others come to me and want it all so they invest several thousand on a variety of products. Our minimum purchase point is $1600, but after that what you spend is entirely up to you. 

What will I wear?

We will gladly remove all of the bruises and pimples but we don’t want to over manipulate your body to make you look like someone you are not. We already live in a time where we are consumed with unrealistic bodies in the media, I want to show you are beautiful at this very moment. 

WHAT CAN I EXPECT TO SPEND AT MY REVEAL & ORDERING APPOINTMENT?

 Before we have created your images it is hard for me to give you an exact figure as to what to what to expect. Some women come to me and get the a basic album, others come to me and want it all and they invest several thousand on a variety of products. Our minimum purchase point is $1600, but after that what you spend is entirely up to you!  

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET PRINTS BACK?

 Digital images will be delivered as soon as your image reveal concludes. From there, depending on what products you purchased, it can take up to 6-8 weeks for the album to be shipped to you from our lab.
