The thought of a boudoir session can be scary! We get it!! So we compiled a list of the most frequently asked questions, so you can feel prepared when you book a session!
Do you share my images?
Your images will never (EVER!) be posted online without your ok. We get it, we are all at different journeys with our bodies, that sometimes we are not ready for others to see our images. Or maybe your job will not allow you to share, we totally understand! During your ordering session we’ll show you the images that we’re interested in possibly sharing and you can say yes or no. We’re totally cool either way! There won’t be any pressure to share your personal images anywhere.
Do I have to wear lingerie?
Nope not at all! Choose outfits that make you feel sexy and comfortable bring at least 4-6 outfits. Whether you prefer bra and panty sets, boy shorts and a sweater or garters and a leather jacket, pick outfits that you love, I send out emails about ideas on how to prepare for your shoot and wardrobe ideas but also check out this blog post for more ideas.
Is hair and makeup included, or do I do it myself?
Professional hair and makeup is included in every full priced session because it just makes you feel sooooo pampered! We can go super glam or we can keep it more natural either way you are going to be feeling fabulous!
Do you offer digitals?
Yes we doooooo!!! All of your digitals allow you to have full printing rights! I will recommend a lab that will be respectful of your images but once you buy digitals you can do what you want with them.
Can I bring a friend to the shoot?
You’re welcome to bring one friend to the session, heck why not make it a girls day out and you both get pampered and have a photoshoot! Please let me know prior to your session day if you will be bringing someone!
I don’t see any semi nude photos on your website. I’m a little embarrassed to ask, but do you offer that type of photography?
Yes, I do offer semi nude options during sessions. I just choose not to display this on the web. Keep in mind that I will only photograph tasteful nudes – if it’s outside my comfort zone I will let you know. It’s my goal that you look back on the photos and feel good about them years from now. And not that you look back on them and feel weird about having shown something you wish you hadn’t!
Do you photoshop my images?
Retouching is included with every session. I remove acne, bruises and other random marks you may have on the day of your session. I also can edit if requestied scars, stretch marks and cellulite. I don’t “take off 15 pounds!” I work with clients to find the most flattering poses and lighting to highlight their best features. Now with that being said we are all at different stages of accepting our bodies, if there’s something you feel particularly self-conscious about, let me know.
I’m freaking out! How can I calm my nerves?
Nerves are all part of the experience! I always say that it would probably be weird if you WEREN’T nervous. The nervousness in the beginning of your shoot make your moment of “WOW” seeing your photos for the first so much better!
Should I get to my session early?
You should plan on getting to the studio 10 minutes early so that way you can unpack the outfit choices and we can decide on what outfits you will wear. Please do not show up any earlier then that because I will most likely be eating breakfast!
What type of print products do you have?
Our most popular product is the luxury albums that come in a variety of sizes and covers. My favorite product is the stunning metal wall art that is a perfect way to remind yourself daily just how incredible you are! We also have some bedside products that make an incredible gift.
Do you have payment plans?
We offer a few payment options! There is a booking retainer to book your shoot and to hold your spot on the calendar. If you want more time to be able to pay off the shoot, you can schedule it a few months out, and pay it off in payments! We also offer prepayments for any albums and images you will want. Let me know if this is something that you want to set up!

Shoots are done (by appointment only) at our studio in Minneapolis, MN, located at 79 13th Ave NE Studio 211 Minneapolis, MN 55413
